An introduction...

I'm Samantha. 

I work Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm-ish.
This has sadly begun to define me, however through this blog and whole two people that currently read it I will begin to find my way back to me or perhaps forward to who I will become.

I love music, so much that it hurts.

Reading is a huge passion...that I need to find inspiration for once more.

Movies make me happy...they're an escape. Therefore you will NOT find me watching sappy movies.

I have a new apartment that has infinite possibilities.

I love my cat, her name is Madeline Lucy (yes, her name is musically inspired...I was a genius at 12 years old).

My little brother is a pain in my ass and my saving grace and my personal angel.

My parents are my strength and my foundation.

I love road trips and late nights with lots of coffee.

I miss my family in West Virginia more than they'll probably ever know.

I just started my 401K, it still makes me laugh. Who knew I'd ever be a person with a 401K.

My favorite band is Hanson; recently I want to bitch slap all three of them.

My favorite Disney princess is Ariel (don't deny it, you know she's the shit).

Lady Gaga is a crazy bitch, but I'm pretty sure she's a genius as well. -- so beyond random

I'm going through a people renovation.

I love my job and the people I work with and for (most of the time) but I'm miserable almost every single day. I miss academics.

I'm going to be a Classical archaeologist.

I'm thinking about (again) submitting my Peace Corps application.

This is all for now, perhaps this time I will be better at keeping up with the blogging world.
